Your WebNex portfolio is a powerful, fully customizable showcase of your skills, academics, and achievements — hosted securely with DashNex.
This guide shows you how to make it yours — privately, easily, and forever.
Getting Started
What you need: A DashNex Lifetime License (one-time fee, no subscriptions).
- Purchase or activate your DashNex license through WebNex or directly from DashNex.
- Log in at app.dashnex.com/login.
- Go to File Hosting / Source Hosting — your private storage area.

Uploading Files to DashNex
All your images and documents stay private in your own DashNex account.
- In your DashNex dashboard, go to File Hosting or Source Hosting.
- Create folders for organisation:
photos– profile picture, about me imagescertificates– degrees, awardsdocs– CV, letters
- Click Upload and select your files (JPG, PNG, PDF, WebP recommended).
- After upload, right-click each file → Copy image address (or Copy link).

Tip:
Convert images to WebP for faster loading (free tool: convertio.co/jpg-webp).
Editing Your Portfolio Page
- Open your portfolio page in a browser.
- Click the pencil icon (bottom right) to enable edit mode.
- Enter your PIN (your graduation year, e.g. "2026").
- Edit text: Click any text area and type.
- Add images/certificates:
- Double-click any image or certificate placeholder.
- Paste your DashNex URL.
- The image loads instantly.
- Toggle edit mode off — changes save automatically.
- Refresh the page — everything should stay exactly as saved.

Why Your Changes Persist
Your portfolio uses a smart combination:
- Text & URLs are saved in your browser (localStorage) — private and secure.
- Images load directly from your DashNex private URLs.
- Result: Refresh or reopen → everything stays exactly as you left it.
Important: Your files are always safe in DashNex — even if browser storage is cleared, just re-paste the URLs.
Backup & Restore
Backup
- In edit mode, click the download icon.
- Save the ZIP file to your USB drive, hard drive, or cloud.
- ZIP includes: text/URLs (JSON) + copies of all images.
Restore
- Click the restore icon.
- Select your ZIP file.
- The page reloads with all text, URLs, and images restored.

Troubleshooting
- Image disappeared on refresh?
Re-paste the DashNex URL (double-click image). Clear cache (Ctrl + Shift + R) and reload. - URL not loading?
Open the URL in a new tab. If it doesn't work, re-upload in DashNex. - Edit mode not working?
Ensure you entered the correct PIN (your graduation year). - Still stuck?

- Use WebP format in DashNex for faster loading.
