Your WebNex portfolio is a powerful, fully customizable showcase of your skills, academics, and achievements — hosted securely with DashNex.

This guide shows you how to make it yours — privately, easily, and forever.

Getting Started

What you need: A DashNex Lifetime License (one-time fee, no subscriptions).

  1. Purchase or activate your DashNex license through WebNex or directly from DashNex.
  2. Log in at app.dashnex.com/login.
  3. Go to File Hosting / Source Hosting — your private storage area.

Uploading Files to DashNex

All your images and documents stay private in your own DashNex account.

  1. In your DashNex dashboard, go to File Hosting or Source Hosting.
  2. Create folders for better organisation:
    • photos – profile picture, about me images
    • certificates – degrees, awards
    • docs – CV, letters
  3. Click Upload and select your files (JPG, PNG, PDF, WebP recommended).
  4. After upload, right-click each file → Copy image address (or Copy link).
  5. Example URL: https://file-hosting.dashnexpages.net/yourusername/certificates/degree.webp

Tip:

Convert images to WebP for faster loading (free tool: convertio.co/jpg-webp).

Editing Your Portfolio Page

  1. Open your portfolio page in a browser.
  2. Click the pencil icon (bottom right) to enable edit mode.
  3. Enter your PIN (your graduation year, e.g. "2026").
  4. Edit text: Click any text area (name, tagline, descriptions) and type.
  5. Add images/certificates:
    • Double-click any image or certificate placeholder.
    • Paste your DashNex URL.
    • The image loads instantly from your private storage.
  6. Toggle edit mode off (click pencil again) — changes are saved automatically.
  7. Refresh the page — your text and images should appear exactly as saved.

Why Your Changes Persist

Your portfolio uses a smart combination:

Important: Your files are always safe in DashNex — even if browser storage is cleared, just re-paste the URLs.

Backup & Restore

Protect your work with easy backups.

Backup

  1. In edit mode, click the download icon.
  2. Save the ZIP file to your USB drive, hard drive, or cloud.
  3. ZIP includes: text/URLs (JSON) + copies of all images.

Restore

  1. Click the restore icon.
  2. Select your ZIP file.
  3. The page reloads with all text, URLs, and images restored.
